NCSU Creates Central Office Art Gallery

“We are excited to share that we have created an art gallery in the lobby of the NCSU Central Office in Newport. The gallery will feature artwork by students from across NCSU. We can hang paintings and drawings, and we have shelves to display 3-D pieces. Art teachers and classroom teachers are invited to showcase their student’s artwork.

This fall we will be holding a contest for students at each school to create a painting or drawing of the school mascot, to be displayed for the year at the gallery.

Our first showing is “Donuts”, from the talented students at Brighton Elementary School. Thank you to art teacher Thea Storz for sending us this creative contribution by the students of BES. They look good enough to eat!”
