Easterseals Vermont is Taking Fundraising to New Heights

BARRE – Fundraising can sometimes be a tall task, but on July 23, Easterseals Vermont is taking fundraising to new heights with Over the Edge - an innovative fundraising event presented by Easterseals Vermont. The event will see 100 thrill-seeking participants rappel 11 stories down the North Barre Manor, one of Vermont's tallest buildings. Each participant must raise a minimum of $1,000 in donations for Easterseals Vermont to be eligible to rappel.

“Nothing generates excitement for an event like rappelling down one of the state's tallest buildings,” says Joe Emmons, Chief Development Officer for Easterseals NH, VT and Farnum. “This event will be talked about around the office for years to come, and we're raising funds for critical programs in the process.”

Over the Edge is a day-long event, which begins at 10 a.m. at the North Barre Manor on 455 North Main Street in Barre. Family, friends and spectators are invited to come down and support participants and enjoy a day you won't soon forget.

Event registration is now open. Register today at www.easterseals.com/vt/get-involved/ events/

The event is open to all ages. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian of operation.
